Steven Clarke is a highly experienced barristers’ clerk and practice manager with more than three decades of experience across the legal profession. His career has encompassed senior clerking, practice management, business development and strategic consultancy, working with leading barristers, King's Counsel, mediators and international arbitrators in the UK and internationally.
Steven is known for his integrity, commercial awareness and exceptional relationship-management skills. He has considerable experience in developing barristers’ practices, managing professional client relationships, business development, fee management, recruitment and implementing the operational structures required for successful and growing chambers.
Earlier in his career, Steven held the distinguished position of Clerk to the Attorney General for England and Wales and Northern Ireland, John Morris, Baron Morris of Aberavon, between 1997 and 1999. His career has since included senior roles within the Bar and international dispute resolution, with experience extending across London, Europe and the United States.
